Join flutist Julie Johnson and pianist Gail Olszewski as they present a program featuring tangos and waltzes from Argentina, French romantic works, and contemporary pieces by American composers. The program includes pieces and arrangements by Astor Piazzolla, Amy Porter, William Grant Still, Mel Bonis, Valerie Coleman, and more.
Donations will be collected for the charity of this month, Liberty Church Healing Space. NHS is designed to be a community-driven, “safe and culturally celebratory space” to heal from trauma and enhance resiliency skills based in North Minneapolis.
