Thanks to the support of a Creative Support for Individuals Grant from the MN State Arts Board, I’ll be releasing six live-performance videos of my original pieces, all performed in my living room by yours truly on amplified flute, bass flute, and looping & effects pedals. The pieces come from works and shows I’ve created and performed with other artists, including choreographer Jennifer Glaws/Jagged Moves Dance Company; folk/roots trio Julie Johnson & The No-Accounts (Doug Otto & Drew Druckrey); flute/cello duo J2J (Jacqueline Ultan); dancer/film designer Tamara Ober; visual artist Patrick Kemal Pryor; and director/film designer DJ Mendel.

Join Julie for a brief welcome and introduction to the performances in Zoom. From there, you will be given a link/password to watch two virtual performances on your own device: “Opening & Suffocation” from Touch Code: https://julieflute.net/product/617518 and “Arkan”: Fantasy on a Traditional Ukrainian Melody: https://julieflute.net/product/617520.

Stay in Zoom as you watch or come back after the performances for a Q & A session with Julie.

Upon purchase, you can download a PDF that contains Zoom information for the party!
